In 2003, a joint venture (Specialist Infrastructure Oilwell Global Service Company W.L.L) between SIGS and the Al-Rashed Group was formed in view to provide comprehensive machine shop & inspection services to the Drilling Contractors locally within the State of Kuwait. 

 

SIGS-Kuwait is constantly striving to add value to the local Oil & Gas industry in Kuwait by continuous training and periodic re-certification of our personnel, consistently maintaining the highest standard of Quality Control and utilizing state-of- the-art equipments at all times. At the SIGS-Kuwait Machine Shop facility, we are licensed to thread API Connections and Premium Connections. We also manufacture, sell, repair, re-manufacture which involves specialized welding services such as hard banding, build-up and carbide redress of Down-Hole and Drilling related surface equipment used in the Oil & Gas Drilling Industry. Part of the comprehensive service portfolio that we offer are servicing of Jars, Shock Tools & Motors following reputed OEM service protocols.

 

SIGS-Kuwait Inspection operations offer comprehensive NDT Inspection Services on extensive range of Drill Stem, Handling Equipment, OCTG & Structural Component as per API RP 7G-2 and DS-1 Standards.Additionally, we also carry out Lifting Equipment Re-Certification to the highest of Industry Standards of LEEA and LOLER as well as conducting DROPS Surveys on request.

 

SIGS-Kuwait hold an extensive stock of comprehensive range of Industrial Gaskets manufactured in the API (6A & 17D) licensed SIGS Dubai facility. Smith Gaskets meets quality certifications to ISO 9001-2008. SIGS’s product range includes Spiral Wound, Ring Joint, Soft cut, Kammprofile Gaskets & Flange Insulating Sets.
